Our Mission:

To assist owners and shelters place Boxers that have become homeless through no fault of their own. MO/Kan and affiliates will not take temperament-challenged dogs or ones with a bite history.

PLEASE NOTE:
MO/Kan Boxer Rescue has limited volunteer coverage within Kansas and Missouri. Missouri coverage is generally limited to the greater Kansas City and Columbia, MO areas. Springfield, MO and surrounding parts of SW MO are also covered, either through MO/Kan or the BSRO rescue group. There are no volunteers in the St. Louis area.

In Kansas, MO/Kan generally covers the Topeka and Wichita areas, and some areas near Hays, KS. You should contact our coordinators below to determine whether we have a volunteer in your geographic area -- and whether we will be able to process your application. If not, we may be able to refer you to other sources in your area, such as shelters, which have Boxers in need.

Adoption Policies:

Applications and homechecks are required. Adoption fees average $250. Seniors rarely have an adoption fee. All Boxers are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on shots prior to adoption. Fencing is not required but is preferred; not having a fence will limit placement options. All other pets in the home must be UTD on shots and on HW prevention year-round. Having other intact pets may limit placements in that home. On-line adoption application can be found here.
