Description
Cruise has passed on on 4/10/08.

*Foster Update* Cruise is continuing to come out of his shell. He?s more playful now and runs around the dining room table with our girl. He LOVES kids! He?s very gentle when approaching and will calmly wait for them to pet him. We?ve tried to move real quick and come up behind him when sleeping, like a kid could potentially do, with no response from him other than looking at us, or trying to lick us. He?s definitely in the routine for we get no arguments when going into his crate anymore. It also helps when his ?sister? runs right into hers?. He?s been very easy to integrate into our house and will be just as easy for his forever home!
He?s a very sweet, gentle, and laid back boy. He?s definitely housebroken for we?ve had absolutely no accidents in the house. He?s figured out that he can ring the bell like our girl does, and we jump up to let him out. We were told that he will climb a 6 ft. chain link, but he?s never shown any interest in leaving us. He prefers humans over other animals by far for if we move, he?s instantly up to follow. He?s not real fond of the crate yet, but will go in without much of a fight. He walks pretty well on a leash and does know sit and stay. He?s shown some interest in our cat, but can be easily diverted. (I?m sure it helps that our Boxer girl is jumping all over him to play!) He?s had a bath already and while it?s not his favorite, he tolerated it really well and doesn?t seem to be sensitive about you messing with his feet or anything. Our girl has figured out how to push his buttons, however. If she wants to play, but can?t get him to move, she "boxes" his hind end to get a response. He?s very tolerant of her although at times I?m not real sure why. We were told he?s between 5-6 years old.
