UPDATE: She’s doing well with the kitties in the house, but does still require a close eye just to make sure she’s not going to chase.
She’s been doing well with the resident dogs, as well as a Golden who came for a short visit.
Betsy is a very active girl and would like a home with another dog and an active person who is able to burn off some of her energy.

Betsy came to us from the local Animal Rescue League after being picked up stray. We are estimating her to be around 2 years old.
She is a very fun girl who has adjusted to her foster home very quickly. She seems to be housetrained, crate trained - but REALLY needs to work on that leash training!!
Betsy is a very active girl, and is busy, busy, busy all the time. She tries very hard to please, but sometimes that boxer-butt wiggle makes her lose her train of thought and she’s back up and playing again.
Since Betsy is an exuberant young boxer, a home with no small children would be best. She really has no clue where her body is at, and little ones may get knocked over easily.
She current lives in her foster home with cats, but it still has yet to be decided if she can be in a kitty home. She doesn’t want to eat them, but is overly excited about them and may chase if enticed.
Betsy is still very new to the program, be sure to check back for more updates as we learn more about her.
