With a sad heart we must report that Cutter went to the bridge today and his family that loved and care for him is devastated. We don�t know what happened, but do know that the last year of his life he was loved, cared for and provided joy to every person he touched.

UPDATE 09/25/11: Cutter is a 77 lb, “Gentle Ben” of a boxer boy. He has such an expressive face! Wherever you are working around the house, Cutter will find a place to lie down nearby in order to provide supervision. Cutter does not counter-surf or chew on things that are not his to chew on. He shares his home with two girls: a boxer and a tiny pug. They all get along. He also seems to love children of any size. Cutter is crate-trained and walks fairly well on lead. After long walks or playing he will happily take a power nap. He likes to ride in the car. He’s just an enjoyable, laid-back boxer guy and will be a wonderful addition to some lucky family.

Cutter came to us from a rural shelter after he was found running stray in the country. Unfortunately his former owners didnt understand the benefits of heartworm prevention, so Cutter is undergoing heartworm treatement but should be ready for a new home around May 15,2011.
Cutter was probably born around March 2008.
