UPDATE-10/19/10-Chopper has proven to be just a gem! He LOVES people and has really gotten along very well with other dogs and children. He also lives with kitties that he gets along just fine with. He is quite content to just hang out but will play in typical boxer fashion if you get him going. All in all he is just a lover who is looking for that special family to adopt him. Chopper is new to rescue and should be available for adoption as of 9/1/10. Choppers story starts in a small Nebraska town. He was surrendered by his previous owners for eating a kitten; however, the family came in a week later to see if the shelter had found their lost kitten. (So, apparently, Chopper didnt eat it!!!) The shelter adored him and knew he would be a great dog. His foster mom reports that Chopper is an angel and loves to cuddle. He is great with the female Boxer in the home as well as the kitties. Chopper has seen abuse in his past by a man that used to own him, but the foster home reports that he gets along great with his foster dad. Chopper is also unique in that he has one blue eye and one brown eye. He also has a full tail. Dont let that fool you though; this boy is Boxer through and through, from couch potato to play buddy! He aims to please! Will you consider Chopper for your home?
