UPDATE 9/28/09
DBrad, or Bradley as he is called in the foster home, is a great dog. We love him to pieces! He has had a rough go and had to go back to the vet for 3 weeks to get his system all straightened out. He is now a new dog and still the bestest boy. He will have to take thyroid medication the rest of his life and have it monitored a couple times a year. Luckily, it is a very inexpensive medication and is on most of the $4.00 a month plans. He does well with the other dogs in the home and does well with the cat. He lets the cat wash his face - but then they play chase and he has to be reminded No Kitties !
Bradley has had 0 accidents in the house, he is quiet in the crate, walks nicely on a leash and just loves to hang out with his people. We do think part of Bradleys problem was a food allergy, and he now eats a Duck & Potato food and treats, which is the same cost as other premium foods.
Bradley has not met small children for long lengths of time, but during short visits hes been very appropriate. We are going to work on meeting more children.
DBrad is a wonderful flashy fawn boxer boy. He came from a local shelter & has been recovering from sarcoptic mange. Now that he is better, he has been moved into a foster home. His foster mom will update as they get to know him better.
