* * ADOPTION PENDING * *
FOSTER UPDATE 08/31/09: Bayla is doing really well here. She has gotten over growling at our other dog. As for her activity level, i think she would be great for our prospect. She is playful at times, but usually just wants to go outside to do her business and then come back in to lounge on the dog couch. She will play from time to time with our male, but, all together she is really pretty quiet an calm. She does pull a bit on the leash, but we are working on that!
FOSTER UPDATE 08/04/09: Bayla is doing great in her foster home; seems to be housebroken and learning to be crate-trained. She is probably not going to work well for kitties; but does well with her foster children. Bayla seems to be fine with her foster boxer brother, but does love to be the center of attention so will do fine as an only-dog also.
FOSTER UPDATE 05/29/09: We have had Bayla now for 2 weeks and she is doing great! We were very happy to find that she is house broken. She is also crate trained. Although not her favorite place to GO, once she is in, she is fine and now will "kennel up" without a fuss. She is very sweet and affectionate with everyone in the house. She seems especially fond of females in general. She plays really well with her foster boxer brother and will box and chase with him in the yard. We dont know how she feels about kitties up close, but she wants to rush them when she sees them, so, we keep a safe distance! She is learning "down" and already knows "sit" and "stay". She has some basic leash manners and we are working to improve those! All in all Bayla is a sweetheart, she is a lover and a snuggler and will give tiny kisses once she gets to know you.
Bayla is a flashy fawn boxer girl who came from a small shelter as a stray. She is estimated to be 1-3 years young. Bayla has just been moved into a foster home & we will update as they get to know her.
