Avery is doing extremely well in his foster home. He is doing well on his house training but still has an accident every so often. He is currently in obedience class and does well as long as a new person doesn?t come in. When he sees a stranger, he does get scared and it takes him awhile to warm up and trust them. He is especially shy of men. Once he learns they won?t hurt him, he is their best friend. He walks nicely on a leash, knows sit, is crate trained and working on other obedience commands. He is in a home with other boxers and loves playing with them. He appears to be more confident if he has a boxer he knows with him to help give him courage. More updates will be available as we learn about Avery.
This young boy is guessed to be between 8 and 9 months old. He is very shy and prefers women to men. He will be fostered for at least thirty days to learn how to be a boxer puppy and learn to trust people again.
This boxer will not be available until AT LEAST 4-01-08. A fenced yard is a MUST, obedience class required after adoption.
