FOSTER HOME UPDATE 7/20/07: Jordan is an absolute doll. She spends hours playing outside with Chance and once inside, splits her time between chewing on bones & giving me kisses & being loved on. She gets along fine with my boxer & after putting the boston terrier in his place early on, she is ok now with him too. She is now started playing with the boston as well as Chance & seems to adjust her play to their size. She does not overpower Gordie but can certainly hold her own with Chance. She will chase the cats if they run but she stops & redirects easily. Obie washed her face one day & the more he licked, the faster her tail went. She has not had any accidents in the house but I also make sure she potties outside before she can come back in. She will go into her crate on her own as long as long as a treat is involved. Once in her crate, she settles down quickly & sleeps all night. She will whine if she needs to potty & the longer you wait, the louder she gets. She also does join in the "mom just left the house" barking that Sophie teaches everyone who stays at the house. She is a talker & freely lets you know what she thinks - as in, not getting the door open fast enough when she needs to potty or after being told to leave the cats alone. It is pretty funny with the cats because she will move about 4 feet away from them & then start woo-wooing at me. As far as placement, if there?s another dog in the home for her to play with, she is truly an easy keeper. Cats are ok as long as she?s reminded not to chase. Kids are an unknown at this time.

Jordan is guess to be right at a year old and is a ?classic? fawn female. She was found lost and scared by a nice family who took her in and tried to find her real family, but unfortunately, no one responded to posters or ads. Jordan is now in a foster home with other dogs and also cats for evaluation and placement.
