Foster updat 6/6/07
Farrow will go into a crate if you throw a treat, and no longer crys once in there. I?ve seen her go into Truman and Gracie?s crates looking for treats, so there is hope for her yet.
She is still going over the baby gate if she feels the need. It always happens when I go upstairs for a moment and she can?t wait for me to come back down.
Farrow is not completly house trained yet, sometimes we take her outside to potty, she comes back in an pees in front of her crate. It does not happen often, but it is something she that might again.
She loves people, toys and other dogs. Shes good with the cat, keeps following her around, but will leave the cat alone if we call her.
Farrow is too exuberant for small children, but would be a good dog for active teenagers. She is not a barker, except when playing with the dogs.
She?s a good girl and she should be at Petco next time.

Description
* * ADOPTION PENDING * *

** 10/23/2007 Farrow went to a fun agility class this evening and she had a blast. Farrow was excited to run through the tunnels, walk over the a-frame and jump over bars. Farrow is a smart girl and loves to do new things. She is also a lover and will make a great companion dog.

**Foster Update 10/16/2007**
Farrow is enjoying herself at our house. She is now completly house broken and crates very easily. Farrow has been going to obedience class and loves to work. She makes a game out of it in her normal fashion. She has the fastest sit in the west! But gets so excited she pops right back up. Farrow likes other dogs, all people and gets along well with our cat.

**FOSTER UPDATE 7/16/07**
Farrow is actually calming down a little, but she still has more energy than any other animal in this house. The other day we were eating dinner and the other three dogs were lying around the kitchen. While they are all crashed on the floor, Farrow is walking around the floor chasing flies. She?s not running, just walking
around stalking a fly that won?t stay still for her. She was quite comical.

Farrow is not fully housebroken yet. She is so busy that she sometimes ?forgets? so has to be watched very closely outside to do her chores. We?re doing well with the crating, she goes in for treats easily now and stays calm while in the crate.
Farrow and the little rat terrier play quite a bit and I sometimes have to restrain Farrow because she is too rough. Next thing I know they are both laying on the dog bed together.
Farrow also plays with the cat, but I?ve never seen them lying together on the dog bed!
Farrow is people friendly, dog friendly, cat friendly and ready to go to her forever home.***

.***

Farrow is probably less than a year old and ended up in a shelter with no room after she and Isaiah ended up there stray. She will be moved to a foster home and evaluated for the best forever home for her.
