Description
* * ADOPTION PENDING * *

Isaiah no longer has any crate issues. I had been letting him have free roam of the house for a few weeks until he started getting into things. One day, I set his big crate back up and nearly fainted when he walked in calmly and willingly with just my hand on his neck. No boosting him, no drugs, no wrenched back (mine) and no fuss from him. This has gone on for the better part of a month now and I have no idea what changed his mind.
When I tell him to get in his crate, he pounces and runs around the house, but will come to me when I tell him to and as long as I put my
hand on his collar and tell him "inside", he will go in the crate

**FOSTER UDPATE 07/14/2007**
It has been two weeks now since Isaiah spent any time in a crate and he is proving himself to be a model citizen, completely trustworthy in the house. Given his strength and agility, a fence will not contain him if he is left outside alone for many hours. If he gets bored, I have no doubt he will seek out entertainment beyond the fence walls.
However, if he is allowed to be near his human, he is as happy as a clam with little desire to leave. A happier, more loving and willing dog, you would be hard pressed to find.

He has proven himself to be a protector as well. He sleeps in my bedroom, beside my bed, and when a car pulled into my driveway in the middle of the night, he sat up and growled. After I investigated and assured him it was ok, he settled back down beside my bed and stayed quiet, but still keeping an eye on things, just to be sure.

Someone better adopt this dog soon or I am going to want to keep him for myself! (grin) . ***

Isaiah is probably about 3 years old and is a flashy brindle male that found himself in a shelter. He will be moved to a foster home and evaluated for the best home for him.
