**FOSTER UPDATE 09/01/2007**
He rarely resists going into the crate now.....ahhh, the power of cheese. He?s never had an accident in the house. He plays well with the boxer girlies, and gets along with the resident boxer boy, too. He?s been kid tested with a rambunctious 4-year-old and passed the test with flying colors. He rarely jumps up on anyone. He loves back rubs and ear scratches. He?s just an all-around nice boy.
Gabe has been pretty interested in the neighborhood squirrels who run the utility lines in the easement behind my fence. He?s not jumped on my 6-foot wood fence, nor has he tried to get over. But I?ve seen him jumping up and know a 4-foot would offer little resistance IF he ever decided he wanted try. A 6" privacy fence might be best to lessen his "temptations".
Gabe is something of a thief and will take shoes out of a closet or clothes from a hamper if they?re not out-of-reach.
He?s an awesome boy and would do well in a home with young children, with or without another dog.***
Gabe is an approximately 3 year old flashy fawn male that unfortunately found himself in a large animal control and his owners failed to find him. Gabe has been moved to a foster home and is beginning to learn how to be a house dog.
