Ernie was born on 1/12/07 and came to rescue after an accidental injury to his leg that his owners were unable to afford medical care for. After some veterinary care and rehab, Ernie appears to have mended (most puppys do!) and is ready for a new home.
Ernie?s new home requirements are:
-physically fenced yard
-someone home or able to come home every 3-4 hours to facilitate housebreaking and crate training.
-children under 5 in the home must have lived with a medium/large breed dog before.
-puppy kindergarten class and 1 basic obedience class required.
-a female dog in the home is fine, but we won?t place him with another male dog. Being an only dog is also fine but will take a very active family. Cats are also unknown.
