Diesel has proved himself to be a quick learning dog. With only a handful of treats and repetitions he learned lay down, shake, stay,
come and how to give hugs all within 15 minutes of training. He has a bad habit of jumping up on people to greet them so that is why I have thrown the hug command in with the hopes that he can learn to do it with someone asking him first. He is a very tall dog standing 25"-26" and weighs around 65-68 lbs. He is nothing more than an over grown puppy by nature. He loves to play outdoors with toys and my dogs. He requires lots of exercise and is not a rainy day dog! When the weather is bad he gets stuck with a lot of pent up energy. We are still working on the housebreaking and he is getting better. I left him with free roam of the living room and kitchen with my dogs for about an 1 hour yesterday and nothing was rearranged or torn up when I returned.
He does play somewhat rough and tends to not understand when another dog is telling him that?s enough but he means well! Diesel is fun and
entertaining to have around and will be a true joy for his future family. |
