Bria is a hoot! She keeps trying to entice the older boxers into playing, mostly with no takers. She chases them around the back yard
and can outrun both. She just flies around the back yard doing boxer laps. I?m so glad the weather is nice so that she can get outside.

She walks fairly well on the leash and knows no obedience commands.

Bria is not housebroken, nor crate-trained (potty wise). We are working on things. We started
using a bell by back door and she uses it some times to go outside and play, sometimes to go potty. And then sometimes she just goes into another room and does her business. She does not have the concept of trying to stay dry in her crate. We removed her crate pad, which helps. During the evening she starts whining if she has to potty. I got a baby monitor today and I?m hoping that will help me hear her while she is still in the whining stage.

She is a beautiful little girl; she has those dark liquid eyes against a black mask.
Bria is a wonderful little girl; she just needs some guidance and house manners.

**FOSTER UPDATE 04/09/07**Bria is fine. She?s a pest to the other dogs. She steals toys from the other boxers, gets reprimanded by them, and then does it again.
Bria is good with the cat. She walks up to the cat gives a sniff and walks away.
The house breaking is mostly taken care of. She did have an accident last week when the Schwans guy was here. Probably a combination of excitement and ?forgetting? that she needed to go out. She does get us up most nights for an evening bathroom run.
Bria crates well with no anxiety. She loves people and other dogs.
Bria plays tug of war with all of the dogs. She can pull the 12 lb. rat terrier around, but she?s no match for the big boxer girl. It?s a contest of strength and wisdom against enthusiasm. Wisdom usually controls the outcome.
Bria also plays fetch very well.
Bria will put everything in her mouth. We?ve had to put extra fencing around some shrubs including a climbing rose. She?s the same way in the house, very curious about everything and will try and cart it off if she can. Bria does respond to correction. But, everything has to be tried at least once. You can see her just looking for something to do or grab walking around the house with her eyes all lit up. She?s also very vocal with her toys, looked to see what she was barking at the other day, and it was the plush toy!
She?s a good pup, **

Bria is plain fawn female that came to us to be rehomed by a private owner. Bria was born in June of 2006, but has never been housebroken or crate trained; two items that are being emphasized in her foster home. Bria gets along with the other dogs in her foster home, but is a typical boxer puppy with alot of energy and will need some constructive correction.
