| Foster Update 7/17/07 |
**FOSTER UPDATE 7/17/07**
Alexus has really blossomed since she first came to her foster home. She rarely has an accident inside any more. She sleeps very well on a dog bed in the bedroom floor. She does not get up on the furniture. She is a very gentle treat taker and responds to several commands. She is still more independent than a snuggle bug. She also loves to give kisses and we are still working on only giving kisses when asked. She loves to chase the vacuum and the lawn mower, apparently she things these are monsters that are after us and she is keeping it in check !! Alexus is ready to find her forever home.

**Foster update 11/22/07**
Alexus has become such a good girl during her stay in her foster home. She hasnt had an accident forever, she loves to play fetch with her squeaky toys or her big furry ball. We throw them down the stairs to wear her out, after about the 8th or 9th time, she slows down a bit.
She still jumps the fence so a 6 ft fence is really necessary for her.
We are trying a new crate for her that is suppose to be escapeproof. However, we have her number now and as long as we bungee her in properly, she doesn?t escape. Shes become much more loving and likes to be rubbed and petted. Especially at bedtime she likes her belly rubbed.
**Foster update 8/30/07**
She can be a fence jumper and MUST have at least a 6 foot fence. She is a very nice treat taker and loves to play, but also is a pretty good couch potato. She isn?t crazy about a crate and
prefers a pet porter type over a wire one. She sleeps in our room at night and we have no issues with her. I have left her uncrated for
short absences, she does okay, usually knocks my curtain down looking out the back window. But doesn?t chew stuff up. She pretty energetic
and forgets her manners so toddlers might spend more time on the floor than upright. She is also a big licker. She also does not like moving
objects (lawn mowers, vaccuums, bicycles and will bark and chase them)***
Alexus is a 2year old plain fawn female that was a victim of a divorced home; neither of which were able to keep her. She will be moved into a foster home and assessed for the best home for her. (02/09/2007)
