**ADOPTION PENDING**
Update 12/13/06 It?s amazing what 3 1/2 weeks of good care and good food will do for a boy. At 2 weeks in, he had gained 9 lbs and was well enough for his neuter. His last little sore on his ear is almost completely healed and he will be making his first Petco appearance on Saturday 12/16/06. Ike makes us laugh daily with how silly he is when he is playing with toys. Ike can get a little crazy once in a while, but when you give him a hug or pet him, he just stands real still and leans into you, like he can?t get close enough. He really is just a big ole sweet baby.
Update 11/30/06 Ike has been in his foster home for a week and half now. He is a great boy! Only 1 accident in the house and the look on his face said he just forgot. He knows sit, down, speak, high 5/shake, and kennel. He LOVES to play with balls and will occupy himself forever with just a ball. He seems to be a little to interested in the cat - haven?t determined yet if he just hasn?t seen a cat before or if he?d like to have kitty for lunch - so we will be slowly evaluating that. At this time - he should not go to a home with kitties. He has put some weight on and his minor injuries are almost completely healed. He is a silly goofy boy and is a clown to have around.
11/20/06 Ike was born sometime in the fall of 2005 and is a hearing, white boxer puppy that was left without reason (other than they did not want him) at a local veterinary clinic. Ike is extemely skinny, but we are told the vets have found him, overall to be healthy. Ike will be in our foster home program to assess him, but so far no real issues have been found.
