8/07/06 Update: Baxter is coming along well, but he and his foster sister just aren?t as good of buddies as we?d like them to be. Right now we?re not sure if this is Baxter?s problem or his foster sister?s, but were are continuing to monitor and debate the best placement options for him. Other than that, Baxter is a typical, goofy Boxer with lots of energy and personality.

Baxter is an approximately 1 y.o. male, white Boxer. He was surrendered to a shelter in Central Nebraska. We are fairly certain that Baxter is mostly deaf. He may have some hearing ability, but it should be assumed that he is deaf and will need the same precautions as a 100% deaf dog. Baxter gets along with other dogs and is basically a big, lovable puppy. He just entered rescue, so his foster home is still evaluating his personality and placement needs.
