Although Lizzy now has a pending adoption application, the shelter will continue to take back-up applications until Lizzy?s adoption is finalized (and she has been picked up). Adoptions do sometimes fall through for various reasons, and it does not hurt to have back-up apps.

Lizzy is an approximately 8 month old female checked - white with fawn patches - Boxer. She is available for adoption at the Fayetteville, AR Animal Shelter and is not in the MWBR program. Fayetteville is in NW AR. Lizzy has natural ears and a docked tail, and her tail is all fawn colored. She?s absolutely adorable! Lizzy is *not* deaf.

Lizzy?s adoption fee is $60, which includes all shots (5-in-1, Rabies and bordetella), HW test, microchip and spay. She must be spayed before she goes to her adoptive home. Lizzy is very people oriented and is doing well with other dogs at the shelter. Her ideal companion would be another male dog. Lizzy was cat-tested at our shelter and showed interest in the cat but no aggression. We think she would be fine with cats but should be supervised to ensure she doesn?t play too rough or give chase. If you have cats, Lizzy should be cat-tested again to verify her reaction.
