**ADOPTION PENDING**
**FOSTER UPDATE 6/21/06**
Jahzara is doing well. I now leave her loose in the house when I?m gone and she?s an angel. She?s full of wiggles and happy faces when I come home. She?s getting better about going potty outside but still has accidents in the house. Still trying to get the timing down on her potty breaks.
I wanted to change her cat status. She is very good with them! If she sees one outside, she?ll take off after it (and hit the end of her leash) but when she actually meets one, she sniffs it all over and then is done with it. So, I would feel confident placing her in a home with a cat, especially one that is confident enough not to run, because she will probably try to give chase.
I don?t know why, maybe she?s feeling confident about life, but she gets along with every
dog/critter/person she meets now.
Still not much weight gain or change in her muscling on her hind end. I took her to the vet recently and she weighed in at 44.5 lbs. If I could somehow move some of the muscles from her chest to her hips, she?d look awesome.***
Jahzara is a 10 year old fawn female that was apparently the foundation line of many of the boxers taken in a recent state confiscation. Jahzara is the epitome of the boxer spirit and stamina, because even though she has lived her entire life in a pen, she is happy; plays well with other dogs and is really learning about what being a cherished pet is all about.
Don?t turn away from this gal because of her age. She is trustworthy in the house; is playful but does not overwhelm and is one of the more outgoing we have from this endeavor.
