Emeri is really coming out of her shell. We moved her bed downstairs, so her favorite game is seeing who can go up & down & up & down & up &
down & up & down the stairs fastest. She sleeps on the rug next to Tate when not in her bed or running stairs. She doesn?t run from us
anymore, and actually asks for pets. Such a different girl! We?ve started some leash training, and will start some basic obedience
soon. We?re trying to stop her "stealing" habits, and she does make good use of our toy basket. We?re very happy to have her! |

* * ADOPTION PENDING * *
**FOSTER UPDATE 4/11/06** Emeri has become very attached to a Christmas tree toy, as you can see from her photo. She is doing a little better every day. The guys who have been working on the house should finish up today, so we?ll really be able to get her "out there" now. She loves shredded cheese, and I?ve been using it to encourage her to hang out with us instead of the little dogs. I think we are in for a long process with her, but she is so sweet, so we are all enjoying it!**
Emeri is a flashy fawn female that was born sometime in spring of 2005 and came to us from a state confiscation of an unethical commercial breeder. She has been moved into a foster home and we will keep the site updated as we learn more about her.
