* * ADOPTION PENDING **FOSTER UPDATE 4/12/06**
She survived her spay with flying colors and spent the evening with me at Three Dog sound asleep since I had to go to work when I picked her up. Now you couldn?t even tell she has had
surgery. The next day she was up and running. She is really starting to come out of her shell and is being a puppy. She found the toys this weekend and has enjoyed chasing Derek around the pool biting his ankles. She would play bow at him and off they would go again. She also had a "blonde" moment tonight. The trio went
charging off to bark at the "evil corner" and she was going with them until....a bug flew by. You could just see it "wait guys, I?m com.....oh a bug!" And off she went in the other direction.
She did get her nails done with the dremel the other day on the grooming table. The table is fine....dremel is evil. Needless to say, that is going to take some work. Still doing wonderful on the house training but crate also needs work. If you don?t zip cord it or bungee cord it, she licks the latches open and escapes. She also
likes to pretend she does?t hear you call her to go in her crate. She is really good at playing innocent when you find her too. ***
Gwen is a 6 month old flashy fawn female that came to rescue after a nice lady picked her up after hearing about her on a radio ?swap? show. We don?t know alot about Gwen at this point, but this is what her temporary foster home says:
We got up on the table, got brushed, nails done and our teeth poked around in. She did very well with this for not knowing what work has been done with her in the past.
I am really concerned as she is very calm and accepting of having her teeth looked at, toes messed with, etc.... A dog left out in the backyard as they claim they got her doesn?t act this way.
She was supposedly to be left in the backyard with a hole cut in the shed for her house. Dogs like this don?t have manners and usually are obnoxious.
Just weird.
