* * ADOPTION PENDING * *
UPDATE: Beau is coming along nicely with his mange treatment and is looking good (Check out his newest glamor shot)!! He is still just a doll to be around and his foster home has nothing but positive things to say about him. We did find out one more unfortunate thing about Beau. His foster home was concerned because he limped frequently on one of his front legs and there appeared to be some swelling. An x-ray revealed that Beau had a healing break in his leg. Now it looks like he has some infection in there too!! This poor guy has been through the ringer, but still has that winning Boxer personality and just wants to be loved!!
Beau came to us from a shelter in Central Nebraska. Due to his severe mange he had been brought in to be euthanized. The animal control worker and vet thought he deserved a shot and asked rescue to take him. It’s believed that Beau is around 1 1/2 years old. He’s had a rough go of it for his short time on earth. His condition has been with him for awhile and his previous owner had been charged with neglect and animal cruelty. Beau is just brand new to our program and will need a few months to heal before he will be available for adoption. So far he gets along well with the other Boxers in his foster home and is a real sweetheart.
