* * ADOPTION PENDING * *
Lorna was one of two 5-6 month old puppies taken in a state confiscation of an animal facility and have come to boxer rescue for placements. We believe the puppies are most likely mixes; but by the records we have, mostly boxer, from a boxer momma.
Lorna and her sister will be available to adopt shortly after the holidays as we do have to do some basic evaluation, socialization and they do have some minor health issues that should soon be resolved.
FOSTER HOME UPDATE: Lorna is a perky little princess. She is even-tempered, like her sister, but thinks she can do what she wants cuz she is so cute! She has adjusted well to her foster home surroundings & gets along great with a deaf boxer boy & an elderly boxer girl. She is a no-kitties kinda girl as she is way too rough with the resident cat and could seriously hurt one by accident. She is also a smart little girl who can learn what buttons to push so her new family will have to keep her under their control right from the beginning, even when she is looking at you like, BUT I AM SOOOO CUTE!
FOSTER HOME UPDATE: Lorna has become a wonderful young lady. She is very sweet & gentle, which would be wonderful for a family with young children. She will play anytime you want to play but is also happy just hanging out with you if you?re not in the mood to play. She is a great companion & would love to have her own family that she can devote herself to. Out of all the foster dogs I?ve had in the last 7 years, Lorna ranks right up there as one of the best. She?s just delightful!
