At his vet visit yesterday, he weighed 47.5; a gain of two pounds. His
fecal was negative. And his neuter incision and the wound in front of
the incision is about healed. The vet gave him five more days of
antibiotics. We no longer have to use w |

***Foster Update 7/27/05**
At his vet visit yesterday, he weighed 47.5; a gain of two pounds. Lio is a typical young boxer. He will counter surf, jump up on you and
put his mouth on your hands. Probably not a good idea to place him with a family with young children. Lio is a very smart guy and trains
quickly. He can sit, down, shake and "high five, on the other side" (and there IS a difference between "shake" and "high five"). It appears
that he is house broken but he has been confined to crate so much I can’t say that is a definite. He hates being in the crate and will bark, try to get the door open and "walk" the crate. He will eventually quiet down and we keep the television set to the Weather Channel as it seems to help calm him.
Lio loves his people and will stay as close to you as he can. He seems to be okay with cats. It’s hard to tell as all ours hide, but he has
had no interest in the ones we have seen at the vet or the one that lives in our garage. We will introduce him to Quade and Ashley in the next day or two. *****
Emelio (Lio) is an approximately 1 year old flashy fawn male that was found running stray and his family never found him. We anticipate this guy to be an active fellow after he puts on some weight and feels better.
