**ADOPTION PENDING**
Hi I am Kane. I am a 18 month old boy who came from a shelter in Southern, Iowa. I am not really saying how I ended up stray and in the shelter. I was a house dog before though and I am happy to be back on the couch now.
My foster mom says I have good manners- I think that means I don’t really jump on people or act to wild. The only obedience I know is sit but I am GREAT at that! My foster mom is teaching me down, walk nice on a leash and stay. She said I will need an obedience class with my next owner and I am excited about that- I bet school would be a blast! I do kennel up well and I am housebroken. I am also good about coming inside when called (but there is 12 inches of snow out there and it is cold outside).
I am good with other dogs but I like being with my people best. If you have another dog we would get along fine but they better make room on the couch for me!
The shelter said I ignored the Cats. My foster mom has a mean cockatiel that hissed at me and scared me to death. I have refused to even look at that nasty bird since the incident so my foster mom thinks that a cat could probably get me in line pretty quickly.
If you would like to know more about me please email.....
