**Update 4/5/05**
One of the best reasons for foster homes is that first impressions that these poorly socialized boxers give us is often wrong. Briley is much less dominant than we originally thought, and just loves ’people’ attention. She would prefer to have a human mom; but is okay with her foster dad.. the adoptive ’dad’ just might have to be patient with her***
**Foster home update 2/16/05**
Well Briley has arrived here safe and sound ..... and some mild training has begun...we started in working on building her confidence and learning what a happy voice is all about .... She and Yukon have made a few laps around the house, and yes she is the one trying to incite play ....
They will do just fine together ..... I will know more in a few days, perhaps tomorrow we can take her to somewhere public to see how she handles that and perhaps work on socialization. She seems very sweet ..... but needs so confidence and some social skills, but basically a nice girl***
Briley is a flashy fawn girl that is 2 years; 3 months old. She was dumped by her owners in the local animal control to be PTS as she and her sister Corie would jump the fence when no one was home. She is a very sweet girl and weighs abt 41 lbs and will probably only be mid 40’s when she is filled out. She is not good with cats. Everyone loves this little girl. SHe doen’s know squat but isn’t pushy or rude,She doesn’t jump up on you and just leans on ya for attention.
Willingness to do a fun obedience class for her benefit and physically fenced yard are a requirement for adoption.
