Foster Home Update 11/6/04
Arizona is one big boy at 14 weeks he’s pushing 30 lbs. He may be big but he’s all mush inside. He is very laid back, very patient, and very gentle. He has learned sit and down. He loves to cuddle and just be with friends both 4 legged and 2 legged. He pays little attention to the family cat, but spent over 30 minutes playing with a Grand-Daddy-Long-Leg on the deck this afternoon.
**Foster update 10/15/04**
When he’s ready to come in - he sits patiently by the back door. Even though he may have been the first one to go to the door, he always lets everyone else come in first - he’s always last.
This morning they found a stick in the yard and all 3 were holding onto it on the same side. AZ was in the middle and each time they took a step they looked like a sychronized brindle sandwich. I wish I’d had the camera with me. They are down to 2 feedings a day with a very small dry snack before bedtime and the last potty break.**
Arizona is one of 9 puppies born to Udora on August 1, 2004. Though we have no idea who/what the daddy of the litter was, all the puppies have the appearance of boxers, though we do presume that they are mixes. The attitude and mannerisms are all boxer tho. Adoption donation is $100.00 plus a state mandated $50 spay/neuter deposit.
Our puppy requirements include
-someone to be home or come home every 2-3 hours during the day until they are housebroken.
-puppy kindergarten class and one basic obedience class.
- A physically fenced yard (no underground fences or kennel runs)
