Lolli is one of 6 purebred boxer puppies born around 3/1/2004 that we have available.
Her littermates are: Kylie (f), Jacey (f), Howie (m), Isaac (m) & Garvey (m).
** Foster Home Update 6/7/04**
Very smart & quick learner. Needs a job, needs to be kept busy. If left alone, will find something to do, no matter what it involves (keep your shoes put away!). Will respond well to obedience, agility, any training. If she is laying down, she needs something to chew on - likes to be thinking about something. Needs an involved person who will commit to training & will do fun things with her. Wants to please & has a very strong urge to learn. Very food motivated. Understands that humans are the boss. Understands the "pecking order" in our house & doesn’t try to challenge it - she leaves our terriers alone after being snapped at a few times. Good with the cats & kids, but still curious about the cats. understand "go to your bed", "sit", and responds well to her name. We found her playing in the kids’ pool yesterday, in about 8" of water!**
Our puppy requirements start with an application (found at top of page). ONCE the pre-qualifications are met & a home visit completed, then the foster homes will be notified about interested families. Our foster homes are located throughout Kansas, Missouri, Iowa & Nebraska and puppies are only available to be seen by pre-approved applicants.
Adoption requirements/qualifications are:
- A physically fenced yard (no underground fences or kennel runs)
- Someone able to be home every 2-3 hours, initially
- Attend a puppy (group) kindergarten class & a standard fun (group) basic obedience class
Adoption donation is $250 plus a state mandated $50 spay/neuter deposit.
