Kylie is one of 6 purebred boxer puppies born around 3/1/2004 that we have available.
Her littermates are: Jacey (f), Lolli (f), Howie (m), Isaac (m) & Garvey (m).
**Foster home update 6/8/04**
Kylie is a romping, jumping, chewing, biting, bundle of live wire puppy energy. She definitely tries to be the boss of everyone and gets put back in her place as needed by the other dogs and responds well. She has learned where the toy basket is and empties it regularly, but doesn’t mind chewing on a nearby shoe or chair leg. Potty training....some days are diamonds and some days are coal. :-) But that’s all typical puppy stuff. She does respond to her name, come, sit, and kennel most of the time. She loves treats and loves to snuggle in the evening after a hard day of playing. She’s increasing her self assurance and will often play by herself in the yard or trek off on her own adventure. She’s very helpful in the flower beds and supervises flower planting and watering as well as conducting shovel and garden tool inspections. She may be too much for a very young child or toddler at this particular point**
Our puppy requirements start with an application (found at top of page). ONCE the pre-qualifications are met & a home visit completed, then the foster homes will be notified about interested families. Our foster homes are located throughout Kansas, Missouri, Iowa & Nebraska and puppies are only available to be seen by pre-approved applicants.
Adoption requirements/qualifications are:
- A physically fenced yard (no underground fences or kennel runs)
- Someone able to be home every 2-3 hours, initially
- Attend a puppy (group) kindergarten class & a standard fun (group) basic obedience class
Adoption donation is $250 plus a state mandated $50 spay/neuter deposit.
