**ADOPTION PENDING**
Eli is somewhere between 2 and 3 years of age, and is a plain fawn male. He was surrended by his previous owner because he was a "drooling, unmanageable, and unruly Boxer boy". He entered foster care in Mid March and by the end of March has shown remarkable improvements in many areas!!! He is communicating his needs to go outside, loves to play with his foster boxer-mom, Stitches, and is quick to learn. . Eli just wants to be "involved", he thrives on "surprises" & tagging along. He has not had the positive interaction and instruction that we know boxers need and thrive on. His foster family tells us, " He is a sucker for Praise. Talk to him, show him you are pleased, and He learns. Be consistent, yet friendly & he learns." He is a drooller when it comes to food. Cooking smells and offered treats still trigger "hooch drool" otherwise, his constant drooling has stopped.
UPDATE ON DROOLING: Eli’s "hooch-like" drooling has stopped. His drooling is now that of the average Boxer...his own treats and food.
A fenced yard and structured family-oriented obedience classes will be required to adopt Eli.
