* * ADOPTION PENDING * *
1/20/10 UPDATE: She is a sweet senior girl who needs a loving home to live out her reaming years. Becky was tentatively diagnosed with a heart murmur. But don’t let that fool you; this girl has got some real spunk to her. She loves to romp around with her foster brothers but also knows when it’s time to settle down and relax. Sometimes Becky is so quiet and calm that you hardly know she’s there. She has adjusted nicely in her foster home and became fast friends with her canine foster brothers (sharing a dog pillow with them 2 hours after meeting) and foster kitties. Becky is house trained and crate trained, although she does whine for a few minutes after she’s shut in, but she soon settles down. She walks excellent on the leash and stays right by your side. Because of her heart murmur she would probably do best with long walks, rather than runs. She is currently working on basic commands like “sit” and “down”, but I’m sure it’s possible to teach this old dog some new tricks. Becky is a wonderful calm and gentle spirited boxer, will you open your home and heart to this girl?
Becky came to us from a shelter in Central Iowa. She is a sweet senior girl who needs a loving home to live out her remaining years. Becky was tentatively diagnosed with a heart murmur. She has just entered foster care and we will be learning more on this issue shortly. Becky really is a nice girl. Her foster home says they hardly know she is there. She gets along great with the other Boxers in her home and the cat. Will you open your home and heart to this girl?
