UPDATE 7/06/09: Dodge, who goes by Mya in her foster home, has made great strides since she arrived in rescue. She has completed a basic obedience class, met several cats who she got along well with, been to Doggie Daycare and done a little traveling!! We�ve found that Mya really likes the company of another dog and think it would be good for her to have a companion in her home. While in her original home, she was a bit of an escape artist, she has not attempted to go over the standard chainlink fence during a recent stay with a fellow foster home. Although that�s not a guarantee she wouldn�t try it, given the opportunity!!! Mya is a lovely, active young girl who loves to play and hang out with other dogs, who will make a great addition to any home.
Dodge is fairly new to our program. She is a young girl and pretty wild, in need of structure and lots of exercise. Dodge so far seems to be housetrained and we�re working on making the crate a more "fun" place for her. She was recently spayed and now we�re just working on basic obedience and socialization. Dodge is probably going to need a home without little children due to her activity level. Additionally, she has proven she can go over fences, so a six foot privacy fence will be required along with a fun, group obedience class, in order to adopt Dodge.
