* * ADOPTION PENDING * *
3/31/09 UPDATE: Joey has finally entered his foster home. He spent one day with our family and there is just one word to describe this dog....AWESOME!!! Joey is a sweet, sweet boy who is looking for someone to love him. He knows sit, shake, down and rollover. He will kennel on command and he knows what a couch is for!! He does have a small amount of fear of men, but once he meets them and knows they�re "O.K.", he�s great. He also possibly has a small amount of separation anxiety, but nothing concerning. This is a GREAT dog, just looking for a human leader and family to love him.
Joey came to us from a shelter in central Iowa. He�d been found running stray, was thin and shy around new people. Joey is brand new to us, but so far, he seems to be a very nice boy who has had some basic obedience. We�ll know more about Joey in the next couple of weeks as he gets settled into his foster home. A physically fenced yard along with a fun, group obedience will be required to adopt Joey.
