UPDATE 10/01/08: Ava�s foster mom cannot say enough good about this young boxer girl and how she has blossomed. She has learned to have fun and is a joy to watch play with other boxers. She sometimes makes funny faces, too.
Ava is completely housebroken and has she rarely jumps up on people. She is so sweet and has become a wonderful companion animal. She loves all sorts of treats, and is very trainable because of that.
Ava has come a long way in the search for her forever home. Have you been looking for her, too?
UPDATE 06/11/08: Ava has been cat tested & she is a NO KITTIES kinda girl.
UPDATE 05/14/08: Miss Ava is a wonderful lap dog. She would be fine as an only dog or with kids. She is no longer frightened by life and really enjoys being alive and happy. Toys are fun and she likes to play. The only problem we’re having is she will occasionally potty in her crate but we are trying to figure out why so we can get this to stop.
UPDATE 2/23/08: Ava is settling into her foster home and getting along well with the other boxers in the home. She has probably not been given much socialization or exposure to routine things, but she is learning. She seems to understand crate training and housebreaking.
Ava is a 2-3 yr old classic fawn female who is new to our program. She was bounced between at least 3 homes in the past year that we know of.
