Mick Jagger update February 2012
Mick is a very active young boy. He wears Scooter and Kahlie out each day. I have the girls out with him in shifts.
He is very smart. He knows to sit once in the door. He is getting better about banging on the door before sitting to go out. He is also using the to bells most times to ask to go out.
I think he has been treated pretty rough in the past. There are times he does not want to come in and he acts like he�s expecting to be punished when he does.
Mick does go into his crate on his own most times and will break out if it is not properly latched. I have that figured out now and the extra leash hooks work great to keep the door closed.
I have had to learn that when his back end comes through the door, there is still some more left, his tail! I did not realize how I anticipated the end of the dog as there butt. Now I have to wait for the tail to close doors!
All in all he is a nice, young, smart, strong, active boy with some issues. He will jump or climb a fence if given a chance.
Update January 2012
(Mick) Jagger is doing well. He is a real nice looking boy with a great personality. Mick plays great with Scooter and Kaylie.
His tail seems to be healed, and the only casualties are Scooter and Kaylie�s faces. They�ve learned to keep their eyes closed when standing behind him.
Mick is not completely house trained yet, but we are close. Sometimes he�s to busy to get outside.
He is learning to come to �Kennel� to get into the crate. Somedays he comes right in, some times I have to go get him. Just him being a puppy.
I think he�ll need a playmate. He�s a very active dog, very cuddly, and loves to play with toys.
Jaegger just came to us through a very large shelter and is what we call a @European natural@ boxer as he has natural ears and natural tail. We estimate his birth date as 12/6/09, and he is a very happy boy and seems to get along well. Contact mokanboxerrescue@earthlink.net
