UPDATE **February 4, 2012**
Raine is ready to go to her forever home. Shed prefer one with a fun little feline to play with and a loving human(s) who has a warm lap to curl up on and a nice yard to run around in. Raine could possibly live well in an apartment or small home as she doesnt need much room inside or out, since shes just a sweet little Boxer girl at about 40lbs.
**August 5, 2011: Raine is doing very well and plans to see the vet for a progress report for her HW treatment in two weeks. Our family just adopted a calico kitten, and Raine has fallen in love. We will have new pics of these two real soon. **June 25, 2011: Raine is a petite female boxer, approx. 4 years old. She had her first Meet-n-Greet at Ultimate Pet today; she really enjoyed all the people and liked the boy dogs, too. It takes Raine a while to get to know the girls, but she does fine with her "sister" Ripley. Of course it is hard not to get along with her ;-) **Keep watching for updates on Raines progress. Raine has just arrived from a shelter where she has been for several months. She was part of cruelty/neglect case involving over 60 animals. Raine was spayed and brought current on her vaccination prior to being transferred to us. She is currently in her foster home and appears to be settling in nicely. Bad news - Raine is light HW positive, but not to worry...she will begin treatment in a few weeks. She actually tested negative for HW in April and then positive when she was re-tested in June, so we know her infestation was caught quickly and is considered a faint or light positive.
