MEMORIAL: ONYX 1999-2002
Onyx came to our program in the summer of 2001 and was adopted to a loving home that same year. Unfortunately, Onyx began to exhibit signs of temperment problems and extreme pain in her front leg. After xrays and examination by a radiologist, it was determined that Onyx was suffering from osteo-sarcoma (bone cancer) and the pain was so intense that she could not be comforted. On recommendation by the specialist, Onyx left us on December 2, 2002, to run pain free at the bridge. Run free sweet girl.
