* * ADOPTION PENDING * *
FOSTER UPDATE 1/13/11: Kurt is a great pup. He loves playing with his foster sister, they are either playing together or laying together. Kurt is also good with the older boxer in the home. Weve not had any accidents in the last few days, so that problem may be part of the past. He does jump up on people, so small children may be a problem if they aren’t familiar with big dogs. He is getting big. He is almost too big for what is the standard boxer crate. Kurt may graduate to the next size crate. Kurt is very good with people also.
UPDATE 8/9/10 Kurt is a playful and loving puppy. He is trained to go in his crate to eat, at bedtime, and when we are not home. We are still working on the potty training, for the most part he goes outside but he still has accidents inside every now and then. He will do anything thing for treats, he knows how to sit, and we are also using them for his potty training. He loves to play with toys and our three adult dogs. He loves to be loved and give love, hell follow you everywhere to be near you. He has been around kids and he just loves to give them kisses. Kurt has seen cats in the yard next door and has not responded to them.
Kurt is one of 5 puppies born to Edelweiss on St Patricks Day 2010 (3/17/2010). His mom is a purebred boxer and it is unknown what the dad was, but the entire litter is brindle (like mom) or black. They have docked tails like boxers and are ready for new homes. A fenced yard and willingness to do a puppy class and a regular obedience class is a requirement of adoption.
