1-11-09 update: Finnegan is more than ready for his forever home. You can see he is not for the lazy or passive home! This boy has energy to burn! He wants to play with toys, run, play tug of war, chase birds and be an active, family dog! He happens to be this coordinator�s favorite dog in the program at the moment! He is full of life and ready for the next game to begin. He can also sucker you in with those big brown eyes...which usually results in this coordinator losing her chicken nuggets to him! I always make sure I take him back to his foster home full of fries and nuggets and tons of new toys! Are you ready to take home this bundle of energy...one that will also curl up and take a nap with you?
11-17-08 update: Finnegan is more than ready for his forever home. He loves to play with toys with you and tug is his favorite. But he also has no problem cuddeling up with you but still believes that life is all about the GAME! This boy is not for the lazy home, he wants to get up and go and play and go and play and..well, you get the picture! If you are ready to get up and get out, Finnegan is the man for you!
No, you are not seeing things! I have a TAIL! I am an all natural boxer (except I am neutered) with my ears, tail and even dew claws. I had a hard start after being abandoned by my original owner. Now I am with a great couple although they can not keep me as their elderly dog does not like my energy. So, they contacted rescue to help them find a home I would be a better suited for. I have LOTS of energy and I�m very strong in the front legs. I will need someone with boxer knowledge that will be willing to take me to classes and help set limits and structure for me. I have no problems trying to look cute and get my way. I am house trained and working on crate training. I started obedience class but was too excited to see all the other dogs the first night to really learn anything.
Adoptions start with an application located at the top of the page. After the adoption requirements have been reviewed & met, a home visit will be done. All boxers are placed as indoor dogs, a fence is a must, home visits will be done prior to meeting dogs and most require an obedience class.
