Description

Macey came to our local shelter as an Owner Surrender. She is approximately 1 y.o. and she is DEAF. Macey is brand new to our program, so we are still learning about her. So far, she seems to be very typical of a young deaf dog. She is active, has a short attention span, wants to give lots of kisses and likes to jump!! These are all typical Boxer behaviors, but with deaf dogs, they add an extra level of training and patience required for their potential adopter. Macey does seem to be very sweet and so far is getting along well with the dogs in her foster home. A physically fenced yard as well as continued training will be a requirement for adopting Macey.
