8-18-08 update: Cleo is more than ready to go to her new home. She needs a home that can keep her busy, loves to play but will set boundries with her. She will require at least one obedience class to learn how to deal a deaf dog. Video will be coming soon to show how she loves to play!!!
update: 5-20-08, Cleo is doing extremely well in her foster home. Her coat is turning nice and white, she is learning manners and sign language and really starting to look healthy. She has been spayed, treated for worms and has been given a clean bill of health. She does have a bad habit, she is a thief and steals anything that smells like her foster mom. If something goes missing, it is often found in the yard where she has been playing with it in secret! Cleo has lots of energy and doesn�t know she is handicap. Don�t let the leg or deafness fool you, this girl can tire out three full grown boxers and still have energy left!
Cleo?s foster mom describes her as a "tornado" as she has a bunch of energy and loves to play. Her leg does look bad but after a visit with the vet, it was discovered that nothing can be done about it at this time. It was determined that her leg was broke sometime in December and never looked after. This doesn?t stop her though. She runs, jumps, does play bows, and keeps up with those that have four good legs. She does need work on her house manners and obedience as it appears she has never been worked with. As we know more about her, we will post it.

Home visits, a fenced yard and at least one obedience class is required. Placements will be done in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska only. Cleo will not be available for adoption until after 4/30/08
