Description
Tanner/Jake had a horrible seizure and never recovered. He died in his sleep at the ER Vets.
His family is heart broken. Run free sweet boxer boy!!!

* * ADOPTION PENDING * *
Tanner is a 4 year old boy who has been in rescue before. It’s amazing that such a fantastic boy could be here again. Tanner is living with another male and female and has no problem with them. He isn’t much for playing with them though, he would rather hang with the people in the house...of course, he thinks he’s one of us! Tanner has impecable behavior, with the exception of his trance-like stares at human food. (We’re working on this :)) Tanner has been around cats on one occasion. If the cat runs, Tanner will follow -- if the cat shows no interest, neither will Tanner. He responds well to commands, so with some patience, I am sure he would stop chasing the crazy cats!

Tanner had some slight allergies that made his paws itchy and raw, but we are past that now. We are now trying to heal (what a vet referred to as) excess dew claw tissue on his right back paw. This tissue tears open and bleeds when he runs around the yard like a wild man.

If you are looking for a lover of a boxer that can cuddle with you on cold nights and give little kisses of affection when asked then look no more! Tanner is your man!!
