Description

In Memorial WEBSTER - ~3/2002 - 5/24/04
We will never know why this boy could not adapt to a new home that loved him and was so possessive of his territory that he could not even allow people to walk by on the sidewalk, but unfortunately, Webster was just able to cope with life as we know it. Rest in peace sweet boy..

** ADOPTION PENDING **
Webster is a small, plain brindle male that we estimate is around 18 months old. Webster was found stray and was released by the humane society as he is suffering from a severe form of kennel cough, and he is now hospitalized, hoping to be able to get the head/chest congestion under control. We hope to have Webster into a foster home soon.
UPDATE: Webster is now in a foster home & is being a typical, goofy boxer boy who loves to run, jump & play. He’s also very affectionate & has the quickest, busiest tongue in the midwest, which includes licking the cat! Webster is crate-trained & appears to be housebroken. Since he has demonstrated the ability to jump over his foster mom’s head, he could be a potential fence jumper & will need to be supervised outside at all times. A fenced yard (preferably 6’) will still be required so he has a safe place to run & play. He will also need to attend a fun, group-type obedience class to learn some manners.
